Featuring the Pendragon Alphabet; WONDER WANDER ONE is a wide-ranging, fun-filled compilation of curiosities, lines of enquiry, activities, experiments, expeditions, ideas and challenges. It is designed as a resource for families keen to broaden their children’s horizons and discover and enjoy the ‘extraordinariness’ embedded in so much of the ordinary – and also not so ordinary.
WONDER WANDER ONE aims to reach for a balance between online enquiry and wider, tactile, tangible, sensory and interactive exploration. It sets out to encourage and equip young citizens, 8 year olds and upwards to quest widely, make critical judgements and remain open-minded. It aims to help children to frame probing questions and importantly, to help them develop the skills and confidence to further question some of the answers. It’s also meant to be loads of Fun!
Pendragon’s WONDER WANDER ONE endorses the values and objectives of Tim Berners Lee’s World Wide Web Foundation and its ‘Contract for the Web’ launched In November 2019. The foundation calls for governments, companies and citizens from across the world to take action to protect the web as a force for good.
