Fine Art trained and working as a coppersmith-sculptor and carver for over two decades, community activist, social entrepreneur and ardent campaigner, Richard Taylor has for many years relaxed by writing for pleasure and making intricate hand-drawn high quality digital images often into the wee small hours of the night. Although the work has been undertaken primarily in pursuit of personal satisfaction, the time seems right to showcase some of the material to a wider world, test it in the marketplace and offer it up to professional scrutiny.

The Work Is Arranged In Four Galleries. Please use the navigation bar or scroll through the galleries below.

  • THE FLIGHT OF THE FRANCESCA DELLA LUNA

A rollicking rhythmic illuminated manuscript of a yarn. Meet the puffed up and overblown Bruno Balloono. Meet the under-handed Don Pepe Plantanos.

  • PENDRAGON ALPHABET

The Pendragon Alphabet is a unique collection of distinctive letters, numerals and symbols. They have been formed by the gymnastic contortions of an eager band of bendy dragons.

  • WONDER WANDER ONE

    ALWAYS DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS

  • DANCERS

An attempt to capture a sense of movement and the tension in the sinews and musculature of a posse of dancers. An interesting challenge when their bodies are masked by fur, scales and feathers.
